Somerset County MMCN’s mission is to network within the community and throughout the state to identify available resources. It will be our focus to actively find ways to connect these resources with service members, veterans, and their families. We will bring awareness to our community about the challenges they are facing and work together to bridge the gaps between existing services and those that are still needed. A recent partnership between AmeriCorps, Thomas College, and Kennebec Behavioral Health has led to several work products and initiatives, including planning and development for MMCN in Somerset County. As such, several agency personnel are obvious partnership invitees, including KVCC’s Flora Stack, who has provided outstanding leadership to MMCN Kennebec County.
